- Abstract:
Current research on the causes of conflict and disputes is inconclusive. There is confusion as to the definition of key terms. Often the so-called causes, on closer scrutiny, are in fact only the symptoms. This paper proposes clear definitions of key terms. A classification of "categories", "symptoms" and "root causes" is also proposed.
